2 Week's on the Shannon

Hi All

 

Just a few pic's of the last 2 week's my mate and I spent on his cruiser.. Weather was actually very warm and quite a bit of sun.

 

This was Ballinasloe harbour on the River Suck.. Plenty of good pub's around.

 

Passing the Hotel marina on the Suck heading back to the Shannon. (Marina basic at the moment)

You can see our friend's Gerry and Geraldinejust pulling out on their dutch barge Johanna.

 

Looking towards Ardnacrusha from Killaloe

 

Just left Lough Derg and heading up the River Scarrif towards the town of Scarrif.

 

2 lovely pub's in Terryglass. (North/East of the Lough)

 

Our friend's Al and Mary on their boat Daglan joined us for the hol's.

 

Sun comes up over Banagher Harbour.

If you wake for an early morning pee you may as well have a beer and watch the sunrise.

 

 

I have to say I was surprised at the amount of British I met on the water in the 2 week's.

Had a great time. We played music most nights so didn't spend too much on beer.

The only thing I have ever fished for (and sometimes quite successfully ) is compliments!

 

You and Janet can do the fishing, I will do the cooking and photography....... deal?
