Wheaton Aston Music festival

Thought I would take a short trip down to Wheaton Aston Music Festival this weekend. Anyone been before?

I've been to Wheaton Aston a few times, but not to the music festival.

 

Is it every year? Let us know how it is - I may check it out.

I've not been but I'm told it's well worth attending. Looks good on the festival's website too, good mix of music, food and drink......and just by the canal. Can't go 'cos I'm working all weekend (and just up the road from there!). If you give a good report back on it I'll get there next year.

 

Does anyone else recommend other similar festivals/events that are close to canals/rivers that are not neccessarily canal-related. I'm hoping to get to Cropredy for the first time this year, but with bike and tent rather than by boat.
