mizpah Posted May 3, 2008 Report Share Posted May 3, 2008 Hi all,we are kitting out our widebeam.it is 57x12.will an aldi 3010 be big enough for the central heating,and how do we size the radiators.has anyone used a 3010 on a similar sized boat.any info will be appreciated. dor Posted May 4, 2008 Report Share Posted May 4, 2008 THe Alde 3010 is rated at 5Kw. My 57ft narrowboat is more than adequately heated by it. You can get an idea of radiator ratings by going onto something like the B&Q website or wander round there store. Will you have a solid fuel stove as well? You will find it expensive to run if you have no other form of heating, but then so will a diesel heater. But the Alde is very reliable and easy to install. You can also link it to the mains if you have a landline as it has a built-in element, only rated at 2Kw though. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
