I've got a petter PJ4 with a gearbox on it which has no makers plate or anything just some casting numbers. its a good solid box with a vehicle type clutch and synchromesh arrangement and a 2:1 reduction. anyone know what is is and if i can get a manual/availability of parts? It has been suggested it may be out of a crane although the engine was apparently removed from a workboat some years ago.
