Based on the south Grand Union canal, our route runs through the beautiful Chiltern Hills in Hertfordshire where you can explore the English countryside, with its traditional villages and historic market towns.

We do not always approve commercial advertisements, but in this case you are offering a service which may appeal to many of our members - especially as, unless I'm mistaken, this is the first hire-boat operation on the Southern G.U. since Mike and Lindy Foster retired, which must be more than ten years ago now.

   However, I'm not the sire owner, and it would be a courtesy if we would get in touch with him (DHutch) to seek formal permission.
