I'm a boat owner!

Can't believe I just wrote that! After months of searching and many a road block (read: finances) I actually found a pretty perfect little narrowboat, within my price range, not too old (10 years), not a Springer , which just came through a full survey with flying colours! Assuming mortgage paperwork changes hands without problems, I should be ready to cruise her from Whilton down the GU in about 2 weeks! Can you tell I'm excited?

 

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone on this forum who helped with the few daft questions I dared ask (I'm sure there will be plenty more once I actually get on the boat!). This forum is a fantastic resource, though some of the more argumentative threads get a bit too scary for me!
