Crowdog
I currently have a Surflo waterpump that is at least 10 years old and is leaking badly and I want to replace it. The label states it is 1.6 GPM and 16 PSI. I have looked online and can only find Surflo pumps that have a minimum 20 PSI. Can I just do a straight swap or would I have to make modifications and if so what woukd they be? Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give. Iain_S
An additional 4 p.s.i in the system isn't likely to cause a problem.
Tony Brooks
If the new pump has a higher output then it may cycle more but that would be fairly normal
