dave_2A_
In the continuing search for the ideal starter boat....................... Has anyone any particular opinions on David Piper boats from the early '80s? (In general terms). The one I'm considering is ex-hire, fully replated earlier this year, new BSC, 47'
richardf
I bought an ex hire DP a few years ago and because it had been hired on the Llangollen - it needed a new bottom, but it sounds like you will not that problem. Their trad boats had wooden handrails and (I think) also hatches - look out for rot.

carlt
Don't understand a word of that, please explain. Possibly you view the forum in 'threaded mode' John, so don't notice the difference?
John Orentas
I always use the 'outline' mode but can't see what that has to do with anything.
Scotty
John, your link contains a bit of code &mode=threaded which changes the forum's display mode to Threaded which if you're not used to it is really annoying http://www.canalworld.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=10115&pid=150477&mode=threaded&start=#entry150477

Billw
Just a warning to anyone who's got this far without clicking on the first link, DONT. It resets your view of the forum, and means having to go into "my controls" to reset. Edited to say "as has already been pointed out" Edited September 25, 2007 by Billw
