nickfryer
Hi all had my Cratch cover at home for a while now to clean & get rid of the Green gunge on it. now it’s clean should I proof it off the boat or not until it’s on the boat and fitted. just worried about it shrinking and not able to refit it? thanks all
Dr Bob
If you've already cleaned it, won't it already have shrunk? I've only ever done it on the boat. Not too difficult to do.
nickfryer
Maybe? it was more the proofing being a chemical I was more concerned about.

The chemical that gets the green stuff off is usually very toxic to fish but the proofing stuff won't be too bad. We use Fabsil Gold which is very very good. The 'gold' version works very well. Not a clue about the 'normal' one. eta....you may get a few more answers now that VNC has been fixed.
