Hi everyone,

 

about three and a half years ago we bought Tawny Owl from Alvechurch Boats at Anderton, and now moor her at the top of Hatton locks. If you have just sweated your way up Hatton flight and are relaxing with an ice-cream while filling up on the water point, then ours will be the boat moored just in front of you!

 

I believe that during her life as a hire boat Tawny Owl was based both at Anderton and at Alvechurch, and I wondered if anyone here had hired her?
