i have bought some heavy duty tube clamps and will have them attached across the (metal) grab rails. It took me ages to sort out the fixings! Yes, they will be flat - but as they are so big, I'm sure they'll power up my lesuires nicely. But yes, good point on the size!

Thanks in advance

I have decided to sell a set of heavy brass closed portholes I bought for my boat a few years back and buy a set (8) of new portholes to fit 11" holes. If anyone could recommend chandlers that would most helpful!
I am looking for 4 that are closed and 4 that open. Open to suggestion on style/metal/fixings.
The lining inside the boat has not been completed yet, but it has been insulated with Celotex. Not keen on 'S' types btw!
Thanks in advance.

Just to echo as a few other here, I too have had very positive experiences when dealing with Kedian Engineering.
Recommended for quality of work and communications.

I'm looking for a long-term mooring near to the city of Coventry. I am currently looking over various marina websites alongside auction pages on CRT too. Has anyone got any suggestions for places to look?
Boat length = 45ft.
Thanks
Thats right the idea was to follow the curve from the fluch celeotex boards and fix onto 1" battens that run along the sides...ie most of the sheet would be stuck (marine flex) to the roof - id say 70% would be in contact with boards and angles.
the air gap debate is now in the bin for me.
a trim would hide the sheets meeting (5ft by 4ft)
with no lighting from the roof
and 4/5" holes for vents
thanks for all the replies
GGRRRR need my camera back form the missus - would be easier to show you all ....right?
thanks for the relpy
however, im a little confused
the floor is 22mm - done
the ply (3.5) has been brought for the side (under and above gun)
and the inside of the roof
covering 50mm and 25mm celeotex boards in steel structure
so i have just ordered some 8 by 4 sheets of 3.5 ply
ext, not birch
plans to just vanish them
however is this too thin?
im using them for the roof and sides
with battens 2ft apart
thoughts?

Ps - I really need to sort my batteries out too...
can these (120a) be taken to scrapies for cash?
Is there anyone around the Springfield Marina area that could help me get my Lister running
I have been away from the boat for months and am now having trouble starting the boat!
perhaps a jump?
Or even better a hitch up to Haggerston?
