    I can buy into all of that and if that is the case again it goes to show CART is all about spin.

    I should also add that when CART issued the statement on this year's designated winter moorings they said a lot of the places had been chosen as they were popular last year with those on the Roving Winter Permit. Now that to me makes it even more confusing

    CART seem unwilling to tell us what the legal problem is that makes it still legal to have Towpath Moorings but more expensive in CART designated spots as aposed to boaters designated spots. I understand that you are happy to accept the wooly legal problem spin without explaination. I on the other hand find it difficult without seeing the legal advise.

    Over £500,000 in 2 years. It seems that some simply did not like the idea of ccers having a product they liked and that outweighed any finincial concern. Parry felt the income was not significant more important to stop ccers being happy. It is a crazy CART world we live in It was also a problem for some that the idea came from ccers

    I start the day in a better mode now that at last you have acknowledged the part Jenlyn played in pushing for a welfare officer. I am not convinced Richard Parry was completely against the idea but along with Sally Ash (most probably at that time advised by Sally) wanted to try the cheaper option of the Salvation Army
