  1. I bought a kit with volt metre and gauge, oil pressure sender and gauge, and water pressure and gauge all new for about £12 the set on eBay. It's the same as the leyland 154 tractor.
  2. Thanks to everyone who has replied. I think it is the head gasket. As it has lost compression and I can only start it with easy start and there is a slow trickle of oil running out of the junction between the head and the block.
  3. Hi, thanks for a speedy reply. I'm having my head gasket done as it keeps over heating. But the injector pipes have rusted on to the injectors. I've tried using a open ended spanner, but it just seems to be taking the corners off. I was going to cut a gap in a ring spanner but I thought I would just buy the right on from ebay.
  4. Hi. I'm now going to buy a flare spanner set from ebay, but i'm not sure what size spanner to get. If anyone knows off the top of there head what size I should get I would really appreciate it. I have a B series 1.5 B.M.C engine. Thanks.
  5. well I put mine in today. And it started first time. and ran like a dream, it's the first time i've seen the boat run and i'm well pleased.
  6. mine got delivered today. will be putting them in my engine on saturday. hopefully i can finally get it going,
  7. I bought my set of glow plugs for my bmc 1.5 for less than £16 on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4-X-ROVER-MARINA-1-5-D-Leyland-154-Tractor-Glow-Plug/131633076250?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
