With this one, you have to lift the backrest out and replace it, does that look OK if the opposite backrest is standard?

I'm not sure about 'Registered Owner', it's more the 'Registered Person' ie he who has the boat Registered in their name in order to buy the Licence. I would not be surprised if CRT had the Licencing Application so designed that they can keep track of the person who is the keeper.

A quick hi jack here, I have one of these chargers which I used to revive my van battery, [sitting in my kitchen at this time]. If I want to rejuvenate/condition batteries which are all wired up in a bank and can I remove the line [+] and the ground [-] clamps on each individual battery in turn and attach the 5 amp CTEK charger, it took 27 hours to do revive the dead battery, but overnight should be OK for the these ones.

I dare say she is fed up because she asked a simple question and got a load of discussion, but it's the way of the world. How could I have been "security checked", I just booked online and then went to the Band B, next time I will book direct and save £20. Why did she herself not just ring them all, she is going to have to do that anyway. It's a funny thing, but everyone who boats on a tight budget always thinks "I'll rent it out a few days" . it's not often it succeeds. I think if one had "a perfect location" and the right boat, it's possible it might work , too many iffs imho.

Don't think that Air bnb people are security checked, they just have to be willing to pay commision to AirBnB. I've booked twice there's no security check, if you were a party animal and wrecked the place, you'd probably have to get a pal to book the next time. You don't get a great profit out of it compared to normal B and B direct booking.
