  1. Thanks, yer they are new batterys but today the microwave 800w triped the inverter out on 89%SOC plus the teĺly, it came back on and i make a point everyday of reaching 97 well watching tely or 100 if not. My engine at 1200 goes into hard labour whilst i am newking a curry so i am worrying about drawing anymore power than 800w. Maybe a 2000w genny will be better. Dont want to naff the invertor up.
  2. I just went out to check my mooring pins and stuff and this bloke walked past pushing his bike in the pitch black and i mean you cant see your own hand in front of ya. I said 'hey mate do ya want to borrow a torch ?' His reply 'am ok thanks' I turned my torch off and i realised he must be an alien with night vision....
  3. Hehe yer more in life than a midnight burp after all i would have that if i had a partner. At least a dog keeps me warm with company, stuff the bloody water pump burping. At least i know theirs no leaks and ive learnt a lot. Cheers. Clash
  4. Omg 175 huge maybe ive got confused with alternater and charging alternator.
  5. Sorry cheebacka i totally missed your post and maybe a few others. Its only a burping noise at night and at least i know i have no leaks, I really appreciate your help too.
  6. That will take a while. Lol Omg am knee deep in leaves. Add : i would not get much from my taps would i 'brrr brrrrr brr br,
  7. That answered that one then it a no go 'a'. Tar Yer but you cant blast the bloody leaves off ont tother side with crap water pressure blizzard, maybe i could fasten 200 cola bottles inline and ask 200 ramblers to shake their stuff then open the cannon leaf roof blower at full chat. Hmmmmm
  8. I meant 2000w, a daft question from me really given that the engine drops revs loads when i am microwaving for 1 munite. Add i think its a 70 amp. / beta 38.
  9. Hia Tony i thought bizzard was joking but then i thought the eberspacher needed the water pump on (bloody no nuffings like me). Yer i know where the stop taps are phew thanks, i did realise that before you posted. A good job really. How much do ya get for ; Wet bedding Soggy chairs An oven full of water Ha I better go to bed fanks all, sleep well.
  10. Haha that poor thing was i typo error 404. Yer the last owners were lovely but i think we need to move on now, i cant find any leaks i dont know too much on stuff yet but my mind is telling me a 5 litre pressure vessel is working hard on a 55 litre calorifier. Maybe my water pump is too small for a hearly 60ft boat i dont know.
  11. Can i run a 1800w Pressure Washer from a Victron 2000kw Invertor with the engine running at 1500 revs ? Add : 4 x 110 leasure batterys. With really good new battery's ?
  12. Yer i have muchio build info, i have pritty much stripped out and looked everywhere even under every bilge panel yo know where everything is. I really dont have an accumilator anywhere. Cheers poor u another. Lol
  13. I thought that was harsh too, a bit like when someone said to me maybe boat life isnt for you before i even lived on one. Dont judge, as above the military have done it for year's maybe all be it living quarters or cook tents with loads of high level vents. My advice to the op is watch out for live debris landing on the canvas and look at where your/if gas pipes/tank are in that location. Personally i would never sleep on a boat with a burner flue going through a canvas of any sort. Its not a good idea
  14. How do i clean the metal gauze filter, can i just turn off the pump and open all taps and unscrew the plastic cap on top ? Dont get me wrong the pumps doing its job but the burping at night gave me more concern of a leak than annoying me by noise. Cheers Wotever Noo lol
  15. Had the boat 7 month now and it never did it in the summer its a newish boat 400hrs ish, what i did notice a 5 litre pressure vessel is maxed out on a 55 litre calorifier tank according to a link on ere.
  16. Anyway its friday you lot have a good night. Virtual beers on me. Night night
  17. It states 35 to 50 psi on some website if i remember that right. About 3.3 bar at 50psi. I know nuffin ere am just in the dark with a white flag. Appreciate everything and maybe this thread will help others with stuff in the future. ----------------------------------- What pressure should it is set to? Our tanks come pre pressurised to go with the calorifier. If you need to change this then it should be set to a pressure above your pump pressure but below the pressure release valve cut out pressure. This is very important or the expansion tank wont work properly. I can sleep now, but ????? How much
  18. The water pump just did its 2 second burp again.Maybe i can live with the water pump burp as long as nothing is leaking i can put up with it, its no louder than my dog farting when the bedroom door is shut :-/
  19. Thankoo Geo poors you a brandy.
  20. Thanks mross for putting my mind at ease. Much appreciated.
  21. Now i am genuinely worried i have put 38 psi in my pressure vessel when the water pump is rated 25psi. I best turn the water off i cant afford a leak. :-((((
  22. I have a game of Jenga in my stove before i light the block of fire lighter placed in the middle under the jenga wood. Then i leave the bottom door open/the top one shut too. Once is gets roaring i flaten out the wood and pile on a good amount of coal. Happy days.
