Hopefully the breach work is almost finished and the aquaduct due to be opened before the end of this week. The delay of the planned installation of the diesel pump at Galgate is due to having to wait for BT to lay a line... -
There is a guy on a boat called Firefly who is well known for pilfering off other boats along the Coventry/Ashby areas. Last I saw it was red and blue with stained glass windows but did hear it was now grey. Beware his initial friendly approach!

We arrived on the Lancaster a month ago to take up a residential mooring at Galgate...our long term plan being to cruise the main system during the summer months and return here every September for the Autumn/Winter months. It's a stunning location and we are so happy that we decided to move north#feelingblessed
