  1. Our dog is/was the same, but as previously said stick with it, it gets better. We've had our boat for just over two years now and on a recent trip he even lay down on the stern locker and slept, that was a first! We have a semi trad and he has his preferred place! He hates tunnels so I go down inside with him and he sits (still trembling!) on my lap, some locks he comes with me, some he stays on the boat, depends how busy it is, he doesn't like them but he's much better than he was. Good luck!
  2. We have one from Ikea on our boat, it's a SKOGHALL side table - it folds flat and is easy to store http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/20241541/
  3. We have an Aitree boat, launched in March 2014. We thought they were good value for money when we were doing our research and they are good to deal with. They were happy to comply with our requests regarding layout and offered their own suggestions, they're also happy for you to call in on spec at anytime during the build to see how your boat is getting on so they're obviously confident in their staff and workmanship - we live quite a way from Liverpool and they sent us ongoing pictures too! All in all a good experience - the only thing I would say is get any little niggles sorted out early on - there's always something, we still have a plain porthole window in the bathroom, but we can live with that! Good luck!
  4. Hoping to go up the flight on Monday, then back down a few days later, I guess there are still restrictions, i.e. one at a time and being pulled through, as it was when we last tried to go up at the end of August. Can anyone update me? I notice on the CR&T website that it is due to be repaired and closed during that time but not till November 2nd. Thanks
  5. Thank you for the updates! Glad to hear it's all open again, must have been a nightmare for the staff at the marina - boats out that couldn't get back and boats due to go out on hire unable to leave. Our mooring is there too, but we're not going out till 21st, thankfully.
