I think it goes without saying that an overplated boat would definitely need surveying, you'd have to be very brave (or foolish) to take somebody's word on the quality of work.

Its a tough one as a newbie looking for a boat as its very easy to be taken in by nice shiny paint and recently "tarted" up interiors. I have bought numerous vehicles over tge years and have always managed to spot a lemon and buy decent ones but I must confess that my ability to do this with a boat would be extremely limited , therefore I think I will let a reputable surveyor advise me of the condition and whether parting with a considerable amount of cash is a good idea or not.

So basically then damned if you do damned if you dont, all cos of that little bit of small print.

Hi bastion, the nearest launderette to you is on fosse road. If you leave castle gardens holiday inn end and cross over the main road and walk away from city centre. in about 200 yards on your right you will see tudor road.walk to the other end of tudor road and the launderette is opposite. Its about a 10 minute walk. Hope that helps. Saw bastions dream last night whilst walking the dog , looks a lovely boat.
