I have an iPad Air2. Just seen the TV advert for Music Magpie. There seems to be an Apple app available. But when I Search for the app to download, I only get up 4 apps, none of which is Music Magpie. Anyone know why?

No it's a metal tube but the O-ring is where it was leaking. Not any more.

Radweld contains anti corrosion protection. I didn't want the " searching" antifreeze to be combating the Radweld until it had done its job. I'm giving it a couple of months then I'll drain and add the antifreeze.

The leak was from a small pipe between the water pump and thermostat. I'd replaced the water pump cos the bearing had started to leak. After reassembling, the pipe started to leak but I would have had to take everything apart again which would have meant damaging the pump gasket. Getting another gasket would have taken too long so I used Radweld to solve the problem, which it has. 2 other members have already said they've had no problems since using Radweld. So I'm going off their experience. There is a thermal cut out on the genny.

Thanks everyone for your comments. i think a couple of months without antifreeze will be OK (think of all those raw water cooled engines). I'll drain and add antifreeze then and we'll see what happens.

Had a leak on my diesel genny water system in an inaccessible place. So I drained and flushed a couple of times. Then refilled with Radweld and water (no antifreeze). Worked a treat. Now that it's summer I thought I'd leave the antifreeze til later in the year (as its very "searching") and it would give the Radweld time to coat the system and prevent any further leaks. Then when winter approaches, drain the system and add the antifreeze. Anything wrong with that?

Well I've adjusted the tappets and they still sound like they did before. so....... has anyone else noticed a difference in sound between cylinders?

My 4LW has 1 lever in between cylinders 2 & 3 so I can't reach it whilst turning the starter handle I have a start button but I just wondered if someone had devised a one man hand start system

Has anyone devised a method to hand start a 4LW single handed? I saw a great vid showing a Lister JP4 which had a string tied to the starter handle shaft which gradually wound round it and pulled a decompression lever down to fire up the cylinder.

Or you could consider a cement wash, which would fill any pits and create a very smooth, even finish, especially the base of the tank.

Using a long screwdriver, as a stethoscope, to listen to the tappets through the rocker covers on my 4LW (like the submarine engineer in "Das Boot"),I get noticeably different sounds. Cylinders 1 & 2 sound quite "breathy" whereas 3 & 4 sound more "clicky". I haven't checked the clearances for a year but just wondered if other LW owners get similar differences.

Thanks for that info. I have done what you said re iCloud.Is it not possible to connect a USB stick to an iPad without having to go through a PC?

Thanks everyone. Flickr seems to be automatically downloading my photos? But how do I get iCloud to download them AND when the photos have all been downloaded can I safely DELETE them from my iPad??

Thanks. I'm currently upgrading to 50Gb of iCloud. Got as far as payment stage and I've been on " completing purchase" page for 15 minutes and it's still not completed!!!!!!

Can anyone point me into the right direction as to how to backup and put all my photos on " the Cloud"? Btw I can't download the iCloud app.......cos there's no more room on my ipad?
