  1. Will you all stop being so bloody positive! (alright I might be a bit jealous)
  2. Hi Neil, if you don't mind, could you say how much these cost?
  3. Have to agree (blimey), ukmaps is excellent, proper ordinance survey maps, great on an iPhone/iPad with GPS to know where you are.
  4. Clive, I have the same engine. There is some useful info here - http://indigodream.wordpress.com/2013/01/08/technical-isuzu-42-servicing-info including a copy of the manual. Bernie
  5. I saw a centre cockpit narrowboat for the first time yesterday, cream coloured, passing through Thrupp. My first thought was that if I was helming, I would have to be constantly standing up and turning round to see what my rear was up to Actually that was my second thought, my first was that it just looked wrong, but that is clearly very subjective.

  12. It all seems ok under safari (on iPad). I think it is a great effort all round doodlebug, in terms of product and website. I wish you luck and will probably put in an order if you are still doing this next year. If you get a lot of interest, you may want to think about bringing in a partner who could continue to build them when you return to Uni, rather than stopping production? It could grown into a nice little business?

  17. Thanks for all the responses, I shall check the diameter on the current warps and go from there. Actually I was prompted to think about it because I concluded at the weekend that my centre line is rubbish and had just received an email from Mailspeed Marine with this offer - http://www.mailspeedmarine.com/rope/waveline/pre-spliced-dockline.bhtml?utm_campaign=OH+POW+22nd+June+BAOB&utm_source=emailCampaign&utm_medium=email&utm_content= Bernie
  18. 70ft nb. Btw, enjoyed your book catweasel!
  19. I am thinking of buying new mooring warps, but unsure what diameter is best? What would you recommend? Thanks!
  20. Rubberduckbathrooms.co.uk do (or at least did recently) the shower board at £100 for the 2400x1200, I couldn't find it cheaper anywhere else.
  21. I have heard that yacht varnish does a great job of restoring fading paintwork, not tried it yet though...
  22. Tesla was named by the original owner after Nikola Tesla and bears his image as well. We certainly plan to keep the name and artwork, although not the original 240v setup
  23. I did a charity ride in northampton some years back but it wasn't on the scale of todays ride. What a great event, a fitting tribute. Wish I had been part of it rather than a spectator...
  24. Not sure, more bikes going past even now, it is fantastic. Makes me want to start riding again!
  25. The Royal British Legion Ride of Respect passing by my front door this morning, cracking stuff, thousands of bikes...
