Do you know how this feels? Have you ever had to live in a place like that? Having to walk your Mrs down the stair cases of the urine stinking stair wells armed with a 12 inch kitchen knife afraid that you may get beaten up and she may get raped. In an ideal world Leisure boaters seem to think they can just turn up and get a mooring. If not everyone else is guilty. Believe it or not you could still turn up and not get a mooring regardless of this so called overstaying anyway. Peter Hopley is your Landlord by the way. Empty threats? I don't need to make any threats. There are a few people sitting with me on this boat very offended by Daves attitude and judgement of their circumstances. I am merely pointing out he will get the welcome he deserves. I am sure he will have all the facts to hand when they speak to him. No threat just a statement of the facts. My 1st narrowboat was at the sea cadets. My second boat was at Adamsons. So I did'nt actually move from the sea cadets but dont worry I wont hold your confusion against you. As to how I know the owner of your old moorings, he surveyed my boat. As to basic error its neither here nor there. Do you know that area ? and how close these mooring spots they are trying to split hairs on, because they know I know as well as they do these boats do move. I frankly prefer Hyde to New Mills so in my opinion I am right as my experience of Hyde is probably very different to yours. Regardless if there is ten moorings where Dave has left does not mean I have to take one of those moorings. In fact I know the guy who owns the moorings but that's another story. I keep my boat where ever I wish and the bottom line is which despite insulting my spelling you do not have the capacity to comprehend is that it is none of your business end of.

Dear dear me. Have you been to New Mills marina? Its a shit hole, is that a good enough reason for me not to take a mooring there? Id rather be on Adamsons than there in Hyde. Tomorrow I am going to go up to Whalley Bridge and show you all exactly how many places you can moor. I may even go down to Furness Vale and really rub your noses in it. You are talking out of your backsides. The council tax question its clear. You all get upperty and middle class sounding looking down your noses at others but you provide sweet sod all tax wise towards the local authorities you live in on your boats,which you are not technically supposed to live on,but you do. Plainly and simply you are not representing the full facts there are moorings there just not perhaps when you go there wishing to moor in one particular spot. The other side of Furness Vale Marina north of bridge 30 is also easy enough to moor more times than not. It just goes to show these so called CC moorers do actually move if our debate reflects anything as I have seen them move around all the locations you mention. Oh right so you are in New Mills now!! Even further away. I too agree when people overstay at needed visitor moorings its a pain but thankfully its not the majority of the time. The data you need to collect needs to be factual evidence that these people have not moved beyond 2 weeks, don't actually have a valid reason known to you,or even have a mooring known to you to the extent you feel its your right to create polls based on an occasional problem when you do decide to move your floating caravan! Hi I need to work out my power needs and costs. For example how do I work out how long 3 leisure batteries will run 250watts over x amount of hours and then how long I will need to charge that by a diesel generator. Sorry if its been asked before.

So despite being moored at Furness Vale on your new mooring you are now saying you cant moor elsewhere in Furness Vale when out on the cut there? Granted yes there are some boats along there that are CC moorers who are actually the people who used to CC moore in Whaley Bridge but got moved on from their moorings in front of Tesco. Why you would even wish to moor up there is beyond me anyway. Their choice is not as black and white as you paint it though is it? There is a matter of cost involved. Then there is the matter that they may well not like the moorings that are on offer. Then God forbod their is the freedom of choice the choice not to have one or to have one thats ideal but not official. What such terrible people they much keep you up all night long.
