Recently as in earlier that very day according to official records. Hence no kids tethered to the cabin top.

The Forget-me-not on the Ashton Canal is definitely a motor rather than a horse-drawn boat. It is the same boat as in the second photo on the cutting posted by Neil40 in post #9.

Yes, but it was built as a horse boat in 1926 and then converted to a motor in 1929, and then converted to a counter sterned motor a little while later. I have all of the relevant health registrations and gauge details relating to these alterations, along with the health registrations and gaugings for the other horse boat named FORGET ME NOT owned by the same family - so it is easy for me to separate their history :captain:
