serves one..well it does when Im eating em

 

 

2 1 lb bags of dried peas...like peashooter peas

as much bacon bits/offcuts as you can afford

salt/pepper

 

 

soak peas in cold water with a spoonful of bicarb for 12 hours or so, swill off with clean water and place in a large sospan with fresh water and bring to the boil, add baercun and simmer for a couple of hours until everything has cooked soft. serve adding salt pepper to taste.

 

 

I neeed some of this right now lol, has made me hungry just describing this. ^_^
