Pump out on the thames

Workhorse

Featured Posts

I will be travelling up the Thames from Brentford to the mouth of the Kennet, and will possibly need pump out facilities. I know there are facilities at certain locks, but can we use the BW pump out card, or do we pay the lock keeper.

When I last went up to Lechlade, I found it easier to use the boatyards.

BW have no connection with the Thames as it is an EA waterway.

Check out:

for details of pump out locations.

Remember that the boatyards will charge a lot more than the Agency ...

Our pump out cards are £6 , boatyards charge over a tenner .....

They are roughly every 9 to 10 locks apart , Molesey being the first you will encounter , the next would be Boveney ....
