Hi Haggis, not to 'barge' in on someone else's thread, but I have some questions about buying a narrowboat in Scotland or north of England and transporting it up and would love to pick your brains if you had the time?! My name is down for one of the new residential moorings in the Edinburgh Polwarth area (Autumn 2016), and I'm trying to find the most cost effective way of buying my first liveaboard. Any advice would be massively appreciated - I can't find much Scotland-specific info online... Thanks a million! Becky
