BOATERS!

This year is the 10th anniversary of the Loughborough Canal Festival and this also coincides with BBC Radio Leicester’s 40th anniversary. With this in mind we are asking all boaters coming to the event this year to decorate their boats with either theme: “Tin” for 10 years Or “Ruby” for 40 years

 

There will be a prize for the boats judged to be the best decorated and the best illuminated boat at the festival

 

We hope you will come and join in

It costs boaters nothing, they don’t need to book in, they just need to enjoy themselves.

 

 

Im hopeing to make an apperence at some point, and certainly if anyone from here is going it would be great to say hi.

 

The bank holiday monday is also the date for the Loughborough "FreeFest" event, which is a free-to-enter music festival held on camus outside the union, with a varity of local bands performing on a large outdoor stage, Also being broadcast by LCR radio. With the annuall rag beer frestival running thoughout the weekend. And me doing a stack load of cad work at some point as well!

- Sunday night should be the warmest night this year near enough.

 

Which is good, seeing as ive put down for sleeping on the stage tomorrow night. Make sure its still there on monday eh!!
