Taybrite in Leicestershire?

Sorry not my part of the system but putting (Taybrite+Leicestershire), without brackets into google comes up with few suggestions.

Coopers at mountsorrel might sell it. I'm guessing pillings marina might too, but that will be at a premium. Have you tried Glow? Hercocks in birstall sell it, about £8.70 for 25kg, made by the same company as excel, good stuff!

We gave up on Taybrite a few years ago after we started finding it had become to ashy.

 

We are now at Beeston on the Trent and get New Burn from Murfins of Derby. They deliver to the area fortnightly.

 

Probably little help in the Soar of course, but if you do come across New Burn, give it a try. It's cheaper than Taybrite & we get very little ash from it.
