Anyone currently fitting out a boat might be interested to learn that my local Wickes branch, at Trowbridge, is selling off two brand new Solar-Vents at £15 each. They have a plastic body and look just like the UFO vents fitted to many boats but with a mini solar panel in the top. The Ventilation tube at the bottom is 410mm diameter which is slightly bigger than most boat ventilators. Apparently they are not an normal stock item and were ordered for a customer who never came back for them. The store is about five minutes walk from the K&A at Hilperton.
