I had mine repaired earlier this year by Bethesda Covers - on the Shroppie at Shebdon. They told me that a lot of their business is replacing the inferior zips that are routinely used by one of the major cover manufacturers, (I won't name them here for obvious reasons). Maybe you need a better zip!

Hmm...I can relate to that as I've had to take mine back a couple of times, and one of them is still stiff...
