DeanS
Another thread to say thanks to CRT for re-acting quickly to lock 91 on the Rochdale. They dropped the levels, fixed the problem, and had boats on their way again within a day or two. I think that's commendable.
bigray
Another bit of praise for CRT. Went through Retford town lock on the Chesterfield last Saturday and some knuckle dragging troglodyte had decided to try and break the bw lock on the paddles. One was unusable and the other tricky. Contacted CRT and I got a confirmation before 10am on Monday (by e-mail) that they were investigating it and confirmed on Wednesday they had been and fixed the issue! Now all we need is a way of educating the people responsible. Now where did I put that 4x2? Edited because I never proof read anything! Naughty Cal
Apparently you should not give CRT praise for such actions, it is just their job. On the other hand, well done CRT.
