Chalky White
Hi, today we took up our new mooring at Brinklow Marina, what a great place to moor, miles of lock free boating Rugby to the right Hawkesbury Junction to to left (great place for a mixed grill) Harbour Master showed us where we were mooring and waited on the end of the jetty to make sure we were happy and settled in, he the took us to our old mooring to pick up the car a real gent thanks Erick. When all tied up an hour or so later the owner of the marina knocked the roof to welcome us to the marina (now that a first) all in all looking forward to staying here Rory & Sarah

Chalky White
well things just get better this morning the Harbour Master stopped by to see if we have settled in alright (now thats another first) think some marinas should take a lesson or two from Brinklow
Traveller
Hi it is 11.7 miles and 20 mins by road we are here all weekend till Monday afternoon, you fancy popping down Having just exchanged our Broads cruiser for a new (used) narrowboat, we are currently moored at Brandon Creek on the Great Ouse. Crick is where we kept our previous nb and we would like to cruise that area again even if only on a visit; it is a fair trip from the Ouse but now we have the time :-) I think SWMBO would like to moor that way again as well but we have the lovely Ouse and its tributaries to explore first. That said, should we come back that way Brinklow might represent a nice alternative to Crick.
