boat sales whitchurch area ?

Hi, off to the BWML open day at whitchurch today (sunday) and then looking at boats for/with a cousin. (hefty budget)

 

can anyone recommend boat sales in say a 30mile radius so we can make a day of it ?

I think you will find the open day is at Whixall not Whitchurch

Marinas in the area with boat sales include Ellesmere, Aquaduct Overwater and a bit further away Great Haywood

Swanley, Aqueduct, Venetian and Midway all around Nantwich which could be on your way back plus Narrowboats ltd at Wincham Wharf, Northwich also could be fitted into your route back. Also Tattenhall Marina towards Chester.*

 

If my mates opinion is anything to go off he seems to say there is quite a lot of overpriced crap on the market at the moment. He has been looking in the £40-50k type market for a couple of month and is very disappointed.

 

*Over priced crap not necessarily being sold by the brokers mentioned.

Agree, there's a lot of £30k boats out there being advertised for £40k.

Open day at Whixall ... what open day ? just a bloke sat in the office! (not even offered a cuppa)

Good chat at Midway boats re new build, looked promising.

Over priced stuff at Venitian (in my opinion) but VERY nice people.

(if people want 40-50K for their boats why not tidy them. or have them tidied up !)

Not much at tattenhall but nice marina.

The search goes on ..........
