Blogging now available

I am pleased to announce that following the upgrade to v2.2, CWDF now offers a blogging feature to all members. A blog is basically an online diary that is updated by the member with their views/opinons or just general comments on a particular topic. The idea for this forum is to allow members to host their own customisable blog for the waterways related experiences. This could be holidays, a cruise diary, the building of a boat or anything else. I am also happy to host more general blogs as well.

The software is simple and intuative to use, utilising many of the same characteristics as the forum. It also integrates with the gallery and the members profile. There is also a clear advantage in that a blog hosted hear instantly has an interested audience of people who will read it. If however you prefer to host a blog elsewhere, a link to your blog can be added subject to the approval of the moderating team.

To view an example of a blog, go to http://www.canalworld.net/forums/index.php...wblog&mid=1

To start creating your blog, simply click on the blogs link above, and then click on 'Create Blog' in the top left corner

Please note, links to blogs WILL be allowed in member signatures.

Any member using this service must agree to the following:

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this Blog system to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law.

We have the ability to remove objectionable messages and we will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary.

You agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you.

The usual forum rules and guidlines apply, along with the editing and deleting policies.

If you have any questions please feel free to get in touch.
