Paul C
Anyone fitted a PIR light to the entrance area (eg for us, our bow well deck) of their boat? Or does the, even slight, motion on the water completely bugger up the idea and its always coming on? Or that you can't get it to not come on when people walk past on the towpath etc? Martin Megson
I have a small battery powered one which I bought in Homebase. It attaches to the side of the boat by a magnet (I place it on the towpath side). It's not affected by water movement and triggers if someone walks past. jckm2000
We fitted one (tenner) from b&q, works great, think they're made by a company called 'bloomer' or something. Even with 3 cats coming and going all night a set of Duracells last about four months. C.
