Hot tub alert

A news story I heard on BBC glos this evening on the way home from w*rk.

One of their reporters was out doing a story on disabled boating when someone spotted an upturned boat coming down the Severn near Over, which is flowing very fast right now.

They rang 999 and very quickly fire engines, boats (2), ambulances (5 I think) and helicopters arrived and went in pursuit of said boat.

When one of the rescue boats caught up with it it turned out to be a hot tub! They managed to get it out of the river.

Good to hear that the emergency services reacted so well. Wonder who lost a hot tub?
