Which Wade fitting do I need

Hello:)

 

I have ordered a new manual changeover gas regulator for a friends boat. The regulator has a 3/8" output. (female)

 

The guys piping is 1/2" ( I measured the OD of the gas pipe and it is 12.5mm).

 

Is this the correct fitting to buy, to connect his piping to the regulator?

 

WADE-7071/8

1/2" OD X 3/8" BSPT

 

or could someone confirm which compression fitting would be 3/8" male (to screw into the regulator) with the right nut on for a 1/2" pipe

 

I'm going in circles as I'm not totally up to date with all the terminology (such as British Standard Pipe Thread etc. Some seem to be tapered and other not.)

Some on this link, price seems OK-ish compared to the usual sources considering VAT and postage is included.
