Mooring on 4 counties ring

Hi, We're heading around the 4 counties ring next week. Is there anywhere we would be advised not to moor.

Between locks 36 and 40 on T&M, basically. All other bits are fine to moor on. I'd advise you get a guide book for it so you know what's 'just round the corner', you might end up mooring at a benign location, then say half an hour later on you see a very nice spot such as Westport Lake, Tixall Wide, overlooking Weaver Top Flash, Audlem Mill, etc etc.

Cheers Paul, I've heard Westport lake is nice, It's mainly the T&M that we haven't done before and was wondering if there were any dodgy places. thanks for the info' we'll take note.

Give us a knock before you leave mate. We found some lovely spots on the T&M when we did it end to end.
