Leeds Lock - Paddle dislodged

Leeds Lock - lower sluice paddle is out of its slide. There's a boat on the way to fix it; could be done by noon, or may take a few more hours....

It's well shagged. Both bottom paddles are damaged and they've lost one of them. Divers being called in for monday morning.

 

Out of Order until at least Monday lunchtime.

Fixed now according to Waterscape.

 

Electronic stoppage notice system isn't terribly good; I was present on Friday with the CRT bod trying to get a notice sorted at 1630 - it wasn't published until gone 4pm today (3 days later). The lock was reopened at 6pm and the stoppage notice amendment went out at 7pm....

 

I'm looking forward to the Le Mans start in the morning from Woodlesford where there are at least six boats hanging around.

Stoppage notices don't go out at weekends ~ 4.30pm on a Friday was possibly too late. This is where the forum comes in as we can often get up to date info. on the scene from members like yourself who take the time to post info. on here so thanks.
