Veneered Blockboard Suppliers

Hello All,

 

I'm having timber supplier problems, I'm fitting out my boat, moored in Newark and need to get hold of some 18mm ash veneered blockboard. The only local supplier I've found that stocks it is based in Nottingham and wants a whopping £90 for an 8x4 sheet!!!!!

 

Does anyone know of a cheaper company that will deliver to Newark?

 

My wallet would appreciate any help.

Cannot help directly but I know that kate biats use veneered blockboard on some of their fitouts, you could contact them and find the name of the supplier they use, it may be of help.

Often builders do not use local suppliers.

Harveys boat builders..... at least half the price. I don't know about delivery though.
