carlt
I would find it easy but someone else may find it difficult. It is quite a straightforward operation but will involve re-routing diesel pipes and cutting a new chimney hole.

carlt
is there any danger? we have someone doing it for us? Only the potential for spillage, when the old pipes are removed, but it's not complicated and a competent fitter could do the job safely.

carlt
thats great thanks! so any spillage we would just clean up? no damage done? One would hope that the pipes are drained down before removal so it will be just a case of catching drips.
Guest
thats great thanks! so any spillage we would just clean up? no damage done? Depends what you spill it on - diesel is 'orrible stuff if you've got a nice cream carpet in the boat's lounge . If spilt on a hard surface such as laminate it still would need cleaning up immediately I would suggest. I would imagine your fitter will 'plug' any pipe work to avoid spillages anyway. Ed to add or as Carl has pointed out drain them. Edited August 13, 2012 by The Dog House
