Blacking and Anodes - Leeds

Where would one go to get my aluminium hull blacked, and some new anodes fitting, as close as possible to leeds?

Hi, might be wrong but you realy don't need either with an aluminium hull.

I was hoping someone would say that! Tho the opinions seem to vary.

 

The last survey suggested replacing the anodes (Yes, the sale survey.. I kinda forgot)

Well if it does need doing, there's Hargreaves at Castleford but I don't think they do private boats anymore. I think Goole is the easiest to get too from Leeds, thats where I'm going...

 

I think Mirfield is the closest as the crow flys, but Goole is easier to get to via boat.

Yeah I believe they don't have anodes at all.!

 

Mine had 2 at the back. I wonder if these were for the protection of the rudder or prop
