Bubble diesel stoves

Hi

I am thinking of installing the round stainless steel bubble diesel stove in my new narrowboat to give me heat and hot water..

does anyone here have one if so what problems if any have you had

Does it make the boat smell of diesel?

will it gravity feed a radiator

I too would like to learn from the experiences of others as am thinking about installing one (or similar) myself.

I think you need a water pump for the radiators and a separate deisel tank to feed the stove as the deisel is gravity fed, so its not quite that easy

i dont know much about diesel bubble stoves

 

- but i dont see why it wouldnt "gravity" feed a few radiators

 

- you just have to think a little more carefully about where you lay the pipes, but ten minutes thinking is better than a noisy pump draining you batterys
