Just come from Old Turn to Walsall Town wharf Never seen so much weed anywhere else, its s real shame because most of the canal is lovely. If BW and Walsall council are serious about getting boats here it will have to be improved.

 

Then I walked the dog up the locks. Are they the prettiest urban locks around? What's your vote?

The Walsall is in a deplorable state, we are about to publish a report from a week ago when we took a 3ft 3" drafted boat through with BW senior management accompanying us, our trip was 8 hours in duration, we probably cleared your channel!
