Featured Posts

As many of you know the new bridge at Loxwood has caused a lot of upset to the residents of Loxwood.

finally we have got agreement to change the appearance to a less "in your face" and as such we have launched an appeal to buy a brick

We are also working hard to restore the next Lock at Southland in our efforts to reach the summit level at Sidney Wood.

I'm sure that the more able of you could join one of our regular groups who toil away week in week out and lend a hand

the Trust needs YOU!!

there are numerous groups doing all sorts of things so come along and join the fun!!

with the spring comes growth of hedges, trees and grass all of which has to be kept in check so if you like gardening then we have lots to do.

with over 1/2 the canal having been worked on and a 1/3 of the locks having had some restoration done the canal is slowly coming back to life

Update August 2010

the planning application for the bridge parapets and for Southland's new lock went through on Wednesday, we have moved most of the worksite stuff from Devil's Hole to Southland and hope that the access roadways will be in place very soon.

back at Devil's Hole we need to finish off the landscaping and dredging etc.
