Just back from a few days on the South Oxford in our new boat, still in undercoat if you saw us...

 

We remembered how on the first cruise of our last boat we lost our coolie hat chimney cover on a wooden footbridge bridge at Wormleighton (i think, anyways it is after Fenny Compton) This time we were surprised to see that the bridge is being replaced and that it has Wedding Bridge MMIX carved on it.

 

Does anybody know who is getting married (we think it must be in the future becuase the bridge is not finished!)
