We ordered a sailaway plus early 2009 and started keeping a blog of our progress, all its ups and downs, including the fit-out.

When we got her:

60ft x 10ft

Isuzu 55hp engine

Worcester S-type windows

mushroom vents

sprayfoam insulation

battened

ballast

fully painted

 

Fit-out plans (that may change):

reverse layout - rear galley and living area (open plan), bath room, bedroom

possibly a spare room which we can fit later

solid oak flooring

possibly a wetroom/no bath.

macerator or compost toilet

lining options... ash ply, oak trims? painted ply?

colourful (red?) kitchen units, solid wood worktops
