Moonbeam
I just happened to come across this sweet boat with a centre wheelhouse (weird, but I rather like it). Wasn't this owned by a forum member at one point? I suppose she isn't a very traditional boat, but I'm rather enamoured of it already. If only it was 2009, I could put in an offer*sigh* Edited September 1, 2008 by Moonbeam
alan_fincher
Yes, Original owner is still seen on the forum sometimes. I seem to remember though, that despite their obvious affection for the boat, even they had to admit that the central steering position isn't the most practical way of operating a steel narrow boat! magpie patrick
I know one of it's previous owners (not the one on this website) who loved it. He lived on it near Oxford and then in Birmingham, and I would say she's a good liveaboard, especially at that length as you get more "indoors" for your money. He said the problem was mainly with single handing, as getting on and off required him to get the centre alongside.

Aye, that's rather what I wondered, it would be a fair bit of clambering...but I'm still in love with the thing. Curse my lack of funds...
