Some of you might remember Brioni & John. We used to own and operate a 72 footer called "Stokie". From her, we used to sell diesel & coal. We gave up the canals 2009 , sold both :Stokie" and a Broom 37 plastic called "Islander Of Saltford".

From what we have heard through the grapevine, " Stokie" was resold few times afterwards.

Brioni & I last saw her at Great Haywood in 2015 with Simon ? owning her.

Not long after that, a kind person sent me a photo of her dangling from a crane with a partial conversion from a working boat to a residential.

"Stokie" was an important part of our lives.  We could never go back, but it would be great to be assured that she is still on the water and where.

"Islander Of Saltford" is different. Thats not to say not important. We hope that she too is still in good health and is giving her owners pleasure.

During those great years, we met so many smashing people on the canals. People like Mike Wooding. Bob Scudamore, Brian Gibbs, Brian the Blacksmith "Emilly Bronte"  just to name a few. .

Both Brioni & I hope every one is well and wonder whether they are still on the water.

Anyway, that it for now, it would be nice to get some encouraging replies.

Cheers John
