Whose responsibility is it to inform CaRT that a boat has new owners and if it’s the current owner, what information does CaRT require?

 

I did phone CaRT yesterday but nobody came back to me.

I'm fairly sure there was an online form that you could fill in.

The seller will need to tell CRT they have sold the boat in order to get a refund on the remainder of their licence, and so CRT dont chase them for future licence payments or breaches of the T&C's.

The new owner will need to licence the boat if it is currently in CRT controlled waters, if it is out of the water or in a marina or other water that doesn't need a licence they don't need to contact CRT until they put it back in water that requires a licence.
