Hi! Will be on a rental in Bath in a few weeks. Not having much luck finding information on moorings below Bath. There seems to be nice ones above Victoria bridge?  Bath council seems to be a bit boat hostile. I did order a guide Book but it has yet to arrive. Any advice appriciated.

The moorings between the bridge and the weir have been blocked by Bath Council for several years, although they have recently been populated by what appears to be continuous moorers again.

If you are lucky you can Moor against the railings down river (on the right) from the K and A exit just after the rail and road bridges.

Next there are a few payable moorings on the left a further 2 bridges down river.

Beyond that it can be difficult to Moor until in Bristol floating harbour. The few visitor moorings on the river pontoons and river at Saltford are usually blocked. Allow at least 6 hours to Bristol and check with Neatham lockkeeper for access.

Moorings on the approach to Bath can be very limited due to the high volume of boats, although you have a few extra bank side moorings just before Bath narrow boats.

Lastly passage through Bradford on Avon lock can be very slow after hire boat pickup and Sunday pm.
